SEED Cohort Kicks Off — 23 Beneficiaries Begin "Lite Bites" Culinary Journey
My Craft and SCALE officially launched the SEED Cohort culinary programme, "Lite Bites", with 23 beneficiaries beginning certified training in culinary skills, employability, and entrepreneurship.
My Craft by SCALE is proud to announce the official launch of the SEED Cohort — SCALE Delights "Lite Bites" — a certified culinary training programme funded by Al Fanar and running from April 2025 to March 2026.
Twenty-three beneficiaries — including vulnerable Lebanese nationals and Syrian refugees — have enrolled in the programme, which combines hands-on culinary instruction with employability coaching, financial literacy, and job placement support.
The programme is designed to lead participants all the way from skill acquisition to active employment or self-employment. Internship placements and a direct pipeline to job matching are built into the curriculum, ensuring that training translates into real economic opportunity.
"This cohort represents exactly what My Craft stands for — giving people not just skills, but a genuine pathway to independence," said a programme coordinator. "Every person who walks through our doors has potential. We are here to unlock it."
Al Fanar's support has been instrumental in making this cohort possible. My Craft looks forward to sharing the outcomes and celebrating the achievements of these 23 individuals over the coming months.
